Riga Limited Warranty

Riga greenhouses are manufactured in Germany by Hoklartherm and distributed in North America by Exaco Trading Co. As an authorized dealer, we pass through the full manufacturer/distributor limited warranty.

What Is Covered

This limited warranty covers defects in material and workmanship when the greenhouse is properly assembled using only the manufacturer’s original equipment parts and in accordance with the manufacturer’s assembly instructions.

Aluminum frame and stainless steel hardware: Up to 15 years from date of purchase

Triple-wall polycarbonate glazing: Up to 15 years from date of purchase

Twin-wall polycarbonate glazing: Up to 10 years from date of purchase (prorated beginning 5 years from date of purchase)

Defects in material and workmanship (proper assembly): Up to 10 years from date of purchase

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

• Operating parts such as pistons in automatic window openers
• Other accessories that are breakable in ordinary use (replacement parts may be available at a reasonable cost)

The warranty also does not cover damage resulting from:

• Excessive loads placed on the packed product or parts beyond reasonable expectations
• Glazing breakage caused by large hail, rocks, or other projectiles (including rocks thrown by a lawnmower)
• Use of force, incorrect handling, inappropriate or neglectful use, improper assembly or maintenance
• Commercial use or any use other than personal or household purposes
• Alteration, painting, connecting, gluing, sealing, or assembly not performed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions
• Extreme storms, wind, flood, fire, over-accumulation of snow load, or other extreme weather conditions

Note on snow: While the curved Riga design is engineered to shed snow, customers in heavy snow regions should still monitor and clear excessive accumulation. Damage from over-accumulation of snow is not covered.

Warranty Terms

• The warranty begins on the date of purchase.
• It is non-transferable.
• A dated proof of purchase is required for any claim. Please keep your original invoice and this warranty information in a safe place.

How to File a Claim

1. Contact Exaco Customer Service by phone or email (phone is preferred for faster resolution).
2. Be prepared to provide a copy of your original sales invoice.
3. A photograph or sample of the defective part(s) may be requested.
4. If needed, you must allow the manufacturer or its representative access to examine the greenhouse and its parts at the original installation location.

Exaco will repair or replace the product at their discretion. After a claim is settled, the warranty continues to run to its original expiration date based on the original purchase date.
